
Reach by flight to Srinagar & meet our driver cum representative at the airport & you will be transferred to Hotel. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level. On arrival proceed to visit the Mughal Gardens & Shankaracharya Temple. With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them – the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise and are today very popular places. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, Jewellery ornaments.

After breakfast proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg’s legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Gulmarg – the “Meadow of Flowers” is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. The place is known for its Ski Resort and the world’s highest 18-hole Golf Course.

Gulmarg Gondola in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir is the world’s second highest operating cable car since the closure in 2008 of the Mérida cable car in Venezuela. Gulmarg boasts Asia’s highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Affarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). The ropeway project is a joint venture of the Jammu and Kashmir government and French firm Pomagalski. The first stage transfers from the Gulmarg resort at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori Station in the bowl-shaped Kongdoori valley. The second stage of the ropeway, which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Affarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). The timing of the gondola is 10 AM (IST) to 5 PM (It’s highly dependent upon the weather at both stages). A gondola can carry six people at a time. Also offers Chair Cars for phase-II. It takes approximately 9 minutes to reach the first stage and 12 minutes for second stage.

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam – “Valley of Shepherds” (7200 ft above sea level). Enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century, Bat Factory & Saffron Fields. On arrival in Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. After Lunch proceed to visit Aru, Betaab valley & Chandanwari (Optional). Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast you will be driven to Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier (Optional) which is a major local attraction during the summer. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
