Reach by flight to Srinagar & meet our representative at the airport. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level. Rest of the free day at Leisure. After lunch, you will visit the Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens. With terraced lawns, cascading fountains,paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them – the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise and are today very popular places. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, Jewellery ornaments.
Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast leave for full day trip to Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier (Optional) which is a major local attraction during the summer.
Later Return back to Srinagar for Dinner & overnight at the Hotel
After breakfast, Proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg’s legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Gulmarg – the “Meadow of Flowers” is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. The place is known for its Ski Resort and the world’s highest 18-hole Golf Course. You can also enjoy a Cable Car Ride or a Gondola ride (Optional).
Return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam – “Valley of Shepherds” (7200 ft above sea level). Enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century, Bat Factory & Saffron Fields. On arrival in Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. You can also visit Aru, Betaab valley & Chandanwari (Optional).
Return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
Transfer from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On arrival check in at House Boat. Evening 01 Hour Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called “SHIKARA” witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Visit the local crafts market and shop for unique paper-made and Walnut Wood items.
Dinner and overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Breakfast at your HB. In time transfer to airport to connect the flight for onwards destination.
