Reach by flight to Srinagar & meet our representative at the airport. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level. Immediately after arriving proceed to visit the Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens. With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them – the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise and are today very popular places. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, Jewellery ornaments.
Evening 01 Hour Boat Ride on Dal Lake / Nigeen Lake by a gondola Boat called “SHIKARA” witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Visit the local crafts market and shop for unique paper-made and Walnut Wood items.

After breakfast you will be driven to Yusmarg for full day excursion.Yusmarg is a hill station in the western part of Kashmir Valley in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated 47 km south of Srinagar the capital of the state.
Yusmarg in Kashmiri means The Meadow of Jesus. It is believed by the natives that Jesus came to Kashmir and stayed at Yusmarg for some time. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine and Fir, It lies 13 km south of Charari Sharief a town of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated at the bank of Doodganga River which is a tributary of Jehlum River. It is a popular tourist destination, nestled within the imposing Pir Panjal peaks, a sub range of Himalaya. The Peaks are: the Sunset Peak and the Tatakooti Peak for which the expeditions lead from this hill station. It lies at an altitude of 2396 meters above sea level.

After breakfast, Proceed to Gulmarg for full day excursion. Gulmarg’s legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Gulmarg – the “Meadow of Flowers” is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. The place is known for its Ski Resort and the world’s highest 18-hole Golf Course. You can also enjoy a Cable Car Ride or a Gondola ride (Optional).

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam – “Valley of Shepherds” (7200 ft above sea level). Enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century, Bat Factory & Saffron Fields. On arrival in Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage.

Post breakfast proceed to visit Aru, Betaab valley & Chandanwari (optional). Descend back to Pahalgam by afternoon and later indulge in some horse-riding. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, one of the leading technical universities of India, is also located here. Katra serves as the base camp for pilgrims who visit Vaishno Devi.

Jammu district derives its name from the city of Jammu which besides being the winter capital of the state, is known as the city of temples. It is believed that the city was originally founded by Raja Jamboo Lochan who lived in fourteenth century B.C. The Raja had gone out one day for hunting when he happened to witness a tiger and a goat drinking water from one and the same pond. This extraordinary phenomenon set him thinking and he decided to build a city at this site so that the strong and weak could live together in peace and mutual tolerance. Eventually, he founded the city which came to be known as “Jamboo” after his own name. With the passage of time and due to its frequent use the pronunciation of the name got slightly distorted and the city, came to be known as ‘Jammu’ as it is called now. Some of the famous tourist attractions in Jammu are the Raghunath Temple, Bahu Fort, Dogra Art Gallery and Amar Mahal Museum.
